Safety briefings are thorough, the shuttle runs on time, and the kayaks, canoes and paddle boards are described as clean and in good shape. Routes range from a short tranquil paddle of about 1.5 hours to an 8 km family trip of around three hours and an 18 km Odyssey that takes four hours or more. Caveats are minor but worth knowing. Some groups finished the shorter routes faster than advertised and wished for more time, and one wanted more signage on the long route. One reviewer found much of a three-hour trip ran within earshot of Highway 117. In late summer, low water can ground canoes, and taller paddlers may find the moulded kayaks hard on the back. At least one group waited about 45 minutes for pickup at the end and carried their boats uphill themselves.
