A small waterfall in a Bruce Trail Conservancy nature reserve near Kimberley in Grey Highlands, ON. Just a short walk from a tiny roadside parking spot, but the viewing is limited and the ecosystem fragile.
Webwood Falls tumbles down a mossy, fern-covered ravine in the Beaver Valley, and one visitor described the setting as almost prehistoric. The reserve was created from a private donation and is protected by the Bruce Trail Conservancy, with two sections of the Bruce Trail passing on either side of the falls.
The falls are about 100 metres from a small gravel parking area by an old abandoned building on Sideroad 25. There's space for only about two cars, it isn't safe to park on the road, and signage is minimal, so a few reviewers drove around before finding it. Parking is free.
Opinion is split. Some loved the falls and the Bruce Trail walking nearby. Others found the view from the trail limited and felt it wasn't worth the trip compared with other falls around Owen Sound. Signs mark a natural regeneration area, and visitors are asked to stay on the marked trail and viewing deck. It's not a fishing spot.
Don't cross fences or scramble down to the base; the slope is steep and the ecosystem delicate. The trail soon reaches private property. Expect mosquitoes in summer.
