Getting there is the adventure. The recreation site is boat access only, usually from Harrison Hot Springs, and the walk from the dock takes about five minutes over some uneven, rocky ground. That road is dusty, bumpy, used by logging trucks on weekdays and icy in winter, and a high-clearance or 4x4 vehicle is recommended. Bring bug spray for the lakeside site.
