Moul Falls is one of the best-loved waterfalls in Wells Gray Provincial Park, and the reviews show it. Grouse Creek plunges about 35 m over a rock lip, and it's the only falls in the park you can walk behind. There's a large cave carved by the spray.

The trail starts from a signed lot on Clearwater Valley Road. A larger lot and a connecting path now keep cars off the highway shoulder. It's an easy forest walk to the top of the falls, often around 30 minutes. From there a steep section with stairs drops to the base. Reviewers say the stairs are the only real climb, but they can be slippery, and the trail isn't maintained in winter.

Going down is worth it. You get different angles on the falls, and from July onward you can usually step behind the curtain of water. Expect to get wet. The trail suits most families with good shoes. Grouse Creek is under BC's Thompson-Nicola stream rules, which close streams to fishing through the first half of the year.

Plan for a round trip of about one to two hours. The side trail to McDiarmid Falls has been affected by a bridge closure since fall 2025, so check BC Parks advisories if you hoped to see both.
