Lions Lookout sits on a rocky hill above Huntsville, looking over downtown, the Muskoka River and Fairy Lake, with forested hills rolling off in every direction. It's one of the most reviewed viewpoints in Muskoka, and visitors keep coming back for sunrise, sunset and the fall colours.
The road up is open to cars from spring to fall, and parking at the top is free. In winter the road closes, but you can walk up from the lower lot. A short trail, picnic tables, a gazebo and garbage bins round things out, and several reviewers recommend it for a break in the day.
