Huckleberry Rock Lookout Trail
A 2.5–3 km loop over bare granite to lookouts toward Lake Muskoka near Milford Bay, ON. Free to visit and fairly easy, but slippery when wet.

Huckleberry Rock is a broad dome of Canadian Shield granite off Milford Bay Road in Muskoka Lakes, with pine, veins of quartz and wide views toward Lake Muskoka. Visitors enjoy the open rock as much as the view itself, and a few say the lake looks far off, but the landscape makes up for it.
The loop runs about 2.5 to 3 km and is marked with white blazes on the rock and ribbons in the trees. Most reviewers call it a fairly easy hike; one family with kids took about two hours for the whole loop. The last part returns through forest. Parking is free.
It's a good half-day outing for families, with space to wander and sit on the rock. Wildlife sightings include grouse and chipmunks, and one visitor stopped in the shade to paint. There's no water on the trail, so this isn't a fishing spot; Lake Muskoka nearby is.
Wear shoes with grip: the rock is slippery when wet and was icy in places in early April. A recent hiker had trouble spotting some faded or missing markers on the way back, so keep track of the route.
