Parking is free and it's a short walk from Highway 11, though one visitor found the lot Google suggests small and poorly kept, and parked elsewhere along the trail.
A trail loops around the falls with several angles on the water. For the best view you need to go down, and that part is rocky: one parent ditched the stroller and carried a baby down instead. People fish below the falls and the river is used for paddling, and there's camping and a waterpark nearby.
Early mornings are quieter. Wear proper shoes for the rocks, keep kids close near the water and expect the path down to be tricky with anything on wheels.
