The cross is about 30 minutes up, with roughly 180 m of climbing, and around an hour return. Carry on and the out-and-back trail gets longer and harder; one group took two and a half hours for about 6.5 km, and another says the full trail is close to 13 km return.

It's popular with dog owners, and a few reviewers say kids who like scrambling will enjoy it, though one parent warned that some barriers around rock crevices aren't enough for small children. Strollers won't work. There's parking at the trailhead, a few benches, and no picnic tables.
