Bridal Veil Falls spreads wide as it slides down a smooth rock face above the Fraser Valley, and that veil-like shape gives the park its name. It's only minutes from Highway 1, so many travellers stop on the way in or out of the Lower Mainland. Reviewers who came in winter, and on the spring snowmelt, say the falls were still flowing strongly.

BC Parks describes a loop trail to a viewing platform near the base of the falls, about half an hour return. Visitors call it short and worth the effort, through big trees. The paths are well kept, though one family got briefly turned around where two trails cross and wished for more signs. There are picnic tables beside a small stream near the parking lot, and washrooms on site.

It suits families, road-trippers stretching their legs, and anyone who wants a big waterfall with little effort. One regular recommends June, when snowmelt and rain push the most water over the rock. Dogs are allowed on leash.

Parking fills up, even on quieter days, so a little patience helps. The area near the base is roped off; one visitor saw someone had cut the tape to climb up, which isn't a good idea. BC Parks warns that the falls can freeze in cold winters into an unstable wall of ice, making the base very dangerous. Footing near the falls is slippery and rock or ice can fall.
