Bob Creek Wildland Provincial Park covers rolling hills, meadows and valleys beneath the Livingstone Range, bounded by the Oldman River and Highway 22. Reviewers call it one of the best wild places in the region, with spring wildflowers, golden larches in fall and few other people on the trails.
Hiking is mostly easy to moderate; one reviewer describes a roughly 12 km round trip to a good viewpoint. The eastern trail is open and grassy, while the western trail is treed and rougher underfoot. There's plenty of wildlife, a shallow creek where kids can play, and horse riding. The Livingstone Gap, where the Oldman cuts through the range, is a recommended stop.
