It has been upgraded in recent years, with gravel pads and full hookups. The washroom and shower building gets a lot of praise for being modern and spotless, and there's coin laundry. Staff sorted out one broken washer within half an hour. One older review found the power at some sites unreliable. Some visitors paid at a self-serve envelope, so carry cash. A bank is a short walk into town.
The campground is part of a larger recreation area. Next door are a supervised pool, a splash pad, a playground, ball diamonds, basketball and pickleball courts, a golf course and driving range, and a dog park. Two complaints come up. The rail line is close, and train whistles wake people at night even with earplugs.
