Sandbanks River Country Campground sits on the Outlet River, with cedar-shaded and waterfront sites and a sandy beach. Campers describe it as charming and very well maintained, and one family on a waterfront site had ducklings visiting their lot.
Staff are the standout in almost every review. The check-in team and the crew who keep the grounds clean are described as cheerful, welcoming and quick to help. RVers found sites clean, big and easy to hook up and level. There is a camp store with good merchandise and a chip truck with friendly staff, and prices are called reasonable.

Sandbanks beach is a short walk away, a little further if you have a dog, and one regular recommends paddling about 25 minutes up the river to the Outlet beach instead.
