Robson Meadows Campground sits on flat ground near the base of Mount Robson, and the group camping area has what one visitor called an unbeatable view of the peak. The Fraser River is close by, and one angler reports catching rainbow and bull trout easily near the group area.
Sites are decent-sized and most have a tent pad. Two shower and flush-toilet buildings were cleaned daily, and showers are free and hot, though the stalls are small. An outdoor hot-water sink is handy for dishes. It's cash only: firewood is around $10 a bundle, sold from a truck that makes one round a day, and extra vehicles cost more. There are swings but no real playground.
It's a practical base for the Berg Lake trail and Kinney Lake. Many sites take big trailers, so expect generators and some long-term campers.
Noise is the most common complaint. Highway traffic is constant on one side and trains run on the other, so ask for a site near the group camping area. Recent visitors also note no host on site. One group who left gear on a site to hold it while hiking came back to find it cleared and reassigned, so pay before heading out.
