One reviewer compared it to a large, well-kept backyard with river access, and you can walk straight onto the Wakamow trail system. A small pond near some sites is fun for kids and dog walks, though it brings mosquitoes.
Sites have full hookups, and experiences of the layout differ: some are shaded with hills giving privacy, while others are open and fairly bare, with sites close together in places. Washrooms and showers are locked for security and kept tidy, and there's a coin laundry that takes loonies. Staff are repeatedly described as friendly and accommodating, walking guests to their site and suggesting local restaurants and attractions.
It makes a practical base for a night or a few days exploring Moose Jaw, and groups have been well looked after. You may hear some highway traffic, though one visitor didn't find it excessive. One guest advises using a phone for directions rather than an RV GPS, which tried to send them the wrong way.
