Several reviewers chose it as a base for Forillon National Park, close to the south entrance and an easy drive round Route 132 to the north side. There are private wooded sites and an open area of walk-in tent sites overlooking the water, where campers enjoyed birdsong, bay views and dark, starry skies.
Campers who liked it describe level, quiet, reasonably priced sites with a picnic table and fire ring, and trees between neighbours. Some found the washrooms and showers older but clean and well lit. The owner and staff get praise for being welcoming, and one couple said the owner went out of his way to help free their stuck van. The restaurant's pizza gets a good word too.
It suits campervan travellers, cyclists and tent campers exploring the Gaspé Peninsula. One tent camper who booked an electric and water site found those spots better suited to trailers and was moved to the walk-in waterfront area instead.
