Kekuli Bay's campground is built on a hillside above Kalamalka Lake, so rows are stepped and most sites get a view of the water. Campers like being close to Vernon while still feeling away from it all, helped by patchy cell coverage.
Facilities are a notch above typical: flush toilets even in the outhouse buildings, a shower house, a dishwashing station and potable water. Reviewers consistently call them clean. The lake is the reason to come. There's a boat launch, a dock, a beach for swimming, a playground, and the rail trail running along the shore for walks and bike rides. It's especially suited to RVers and boaters, and several people prefer the quieter off-season.
