The tents and cabins come ready to use. Tents have beds with pillows and duvets, a fridge and kitchen utensils, and some models include their own bathroom and shower. Cabins have a wood stove and kitchenette. Shared washrooms are called clean and well stocked. Towels and sheets cost extra in some units, so bring your own if you prefer. Staff at reception and maintenance get repeated praise for being quick and accommodating.
It works for summer camping and winter trips alike. There's an outdoor pool, activities for kids, and a bistro and bar in the main chalet, and some guests also had access to the pool, hot tub and sauna at a partner hotel. Mont Sutton's ski slopes are a few minutes' drive, and the village with a grocery store, SAQ and pharmacy is about five minutes the other way. Guests arriving in snow were given sleds to haul luggage.
Two recurring complaints. One cabin guest found floors, couches and dishes not properly cleaned on arrival, and a recent visitor was kept awake by barking dogs and their owners, since pets are allowed.
