There's a washroom building with flush toilets and showers, laundry, and a small store at reception. Tent sites don't have power or water, and much of the park is taken up by seasonal campers, so short-stay spots are limited.

Hiking is a big draw. The Bruce Trail runs through the forest on one side of the bay up to cliffs and a lookout over turquoise water, about a three-hour return trip. Campground guests get free use of a few beach loungers, and kayaks and paddleboards can be rented. There are occasional events for kids and campers in the busy season.

The one lukewarm review came from a Thanksgiving stay, when the office was unstaffed, the showers were dirty and full of cobwebs, and a tractor kept passing the site. If you're going in shoulder season, call ahead to check what's open.
