Camping Ste-Agathe-des-Monts is a big operation, with close to 500 sites according to one detailed review and many sections for seasonal campers. It's split in two by pedestrian bridges, so getting a car from one side to the other means leaving through a side entrance.

For RVers, there's a small number of 50-amp sites with water and sewer at the quieter far end, some of them pull-through. Tent and pop-up sites include shaded options with water and electricity. Reviewers mention free showers, laundry, Wi-Fi at the office and rec centre, and free passes to the Lac des Sables beach.

Kids have plenty of activities, with extra events on Saturdays. The surrounding roads are good for cycling, and the mountain trails get strong reviews in winter too, when visitors snowshoe and ski cross-country through snowy forest.

Recent summer reviews are more critical. One camper found the grounds needed maintenance, tent areas dense and poorly shaded from lights, and speed bumps harsh enough to damage a car. Another heard highway traffic from their site and loud music from about 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on a Saturday, and found the bathrooms poorly kept. RVs seem to fare better than tents here.
