Camping Griffon sits on the cliffs above the sea near Gaspé, and campers rave about waking to the sunrise over the water. The waterfront sites have trees between them for privacy, and a shared lookout lets everyone take in the view. There's a walking trail of about 600 m on the property and a stairway down to the rocky beach, which is better for watching the sea than swimming. The north entrance of Forillon National Park is roughly five minutes away and Percé is about an hour and a half by road, making this a good base for exploring the Gaspé Peninsula.

Complaints are rare. The campground is close to the road, so expect some traffic noise, though campers say the trees and waves cover most of it.
