Full-service sites with 30-amp power are available. Washrooms and coin-operated showers are clean, and there's laundry, firewood and ice for sale. Staff are called friendly and helpful.
The park has playgrounds and bike trails, and people fish in the water on the far side of the spit. The town is close by for shopping, restaurants and ice cream. One visitor who came in October found the campground nearly empty and the autumn colours beautiful.
Complaints are few. One recent reviewer was kept up past 2 a.m. by music from the nautical club across the bay on a June weekend, so light sleepers may want earplugs on summer weekends.
