Reviewers describe a very well-kept park with level gravel sites, full hookups, lawns, plantings and scattered trees. You drive through an area of new commercial development to get there, which one guest called a mixed blessing.
Cleanliness is the common thread. Shower houses are newly renovated and spotless, and the laundry gets praise too. Staff are consistently called friendly and accommodating. One guest who booked the wrong month was still found a spot for two nights.
It makes a good stop on the way to Banff or when starting out from Calgary, and several travellers wished they'd booked more nights. A Co-op supermarket is a few minutes' walk away, the town is a longer walk or an hourly bus ride, and there's an off-leash dog park at the back.
Complaints are few. A recent visitor reported that the gate automation was broken, so the gate was fully closed from 11 pm to 5 am. Plan late arrivals or early departures around that.
