Management and staff come up often for being kind, attentive and helpful. Firewood is delivered right to your site, which several campers liked, and the store gets a mention too. Families say the washrooms and showers are clean. Tent sites are decent, with little privacy between them, though one camper said that made it easy to chat with neighbours.

It works well for families and groups. The nine-hole mini-putt is a hit with kids and is also open to day visitors, and there's a big dog park plus open fields for games. A covered pavilion has hosted family reunions and, on one rainy afternoon, a live band. Management appears to take noise and campground rules seriously.
